APS Certificate, a Compulsory Requirement for Indian Students to Study in Europe

Germany has made it compulsory for Indian students to submit an APS certificate along with their visa application to study in Germany. The academic records of the applicants will be assessed by Academic Evaluation Centre and the certificate will be provided.

From November 1, 2022, APS certificates will become a compulsory part of the visa application requirements according to German Missions in India. APS assessment will be open for the applications from October 1, 2022.

Application process for APS certificate :-

Here are the steps that are needed in the process of the application for APS:

• Register online to download the form. Fill out the form and sign it.
• APS fee is INR. 18,000  ( NON-REFUNDABLE ) which have to be transferred to the bank account of APS.
• Submit the requirements along with the filled out APS form and send it through courier or at the APS India desk.
• APS will verify the requirements and will process only the complete applications.
• The online profiles of the applicants will be updated after the completion of the verification.
• Successful candidates can apply for the German student visa through VFS.

Checklist of requirements for applying to APS certificate :-

• Complete application form (printed and signed) with passport size photo
• Copy of the verification fee receipt
• Copy of Aadhaar card with linked mobile number
• Copy of the first and last pages of your passport
• Copy of 12th class certificate and transcript records ( Both Sides )
• Copy of 12th class admit card (upon availability) ( Both Sides )
• Copy of the Bachelor’s certificate and transcript of records ( Both Sides )
• Copy of language certificate

  Keep in mind that you need to notaries only the documents translated into English from one of the regional languages.

   

  After your application package with all the necessary documents is good to go, you have two options:

  A – You can either send the package via courier; or
  B – Take the documents to the APS India office yourself

  Be careful: Incomplete applications will not be processed.

  APS India: Processing times :- 1 to 2 Months after complete your documentation + payment.
